Jusqu'à récemment, de nombreuses personnes se demandaient si le réchauffement climatique était réel ou non et, si tel était le cas, quelles en étaient les causes. Aujourd'hui, la plupart des scientifiques s'accordent à dire qu'il est bel et bien réel et qu'une grande partie des changements observés sont imputables à nous, les humains.
Le changement climatique est réel et nous affecte de nombreuses façons que nous pouvons voir et ressentir : vagues de chaleur, sécheresses, inondations, tempêtes, diminution des rendements des cultures, élévation du niveau de la mer, pour n'en citer que quelques-unes... Pourquoi ces choses se produisent-elles et que pouvons-nous faire à ce sujet ?
Ce livre a été écrit dans le but d'aider le lecteur à apprendre et à comprendre les graves problèmes environnementaux auxquels nous sommes confrontés, tels que le réchauffement climatique. Le lecteur en apprendra également davantage sur la pollution plastique et ses effets néfastes sur la faune, son habitat et les humains.

Until recently many people argued over whether or not global warming was happening, and if it was, what was the cause of it. Now most scientist agree that it really is happening and that a lot of the changes they have recorded have happened because of us - humans.

Climate change is real and affecting us in many ways that we can see and feel - heat waves, droughts, flooding, storms, decrease in crop yields, rising sea levels, to list a few... why are these things happening, and what can we do about it?

This book was written with the intention to help the reader learn and understand the serious environmental issues we are facing such as global warming. The reader will also learn about plastic pollution and how it adversely affects wildlife, wildlife habitat and humans.

About the Author
Kasthurie Govender is a mother and grandmother from Durban, South Africa.

She is passionate about Mother Nature and her beauty, and has a deep sense of connection and gratitude towards Mother Earth. Motivated by her deep love and very strong sense of responsibility towards the planet, she felt the urge to write this book - to create an awareness among the younger generation of the abuse that Mother Earth has been subjected to by her children of all ages. That’s us, the inhabitants of planet Earth.

Hence the birth of this book to foster the seed of greater awareness at this important planting time.
La petite Rosy s'est perdue
C'est une belle histoire à propos d'une petite fille appelée Rosy. Parce qu'elle n'a pas suivi les instructions de sa maman, elle s'est retrouvée bloquée dans une gare pendant quelques heures.
Elle était très triste et effrayée ! Heureusement, elle a rencontré un petit éléphant appelé Ganesh qui se rendait dans un zoo. Ganesh s'est occupé de la petite fille et l'a réconfortée, et ils sont devenus de très bons amis.
